Estate Agent Marketing

Monday, July 5th, 2010

Estate agent marketing is very important. If you want to sell the property on your books fast you need to market them in the best way possible. The longer a house is on the market the lower the offers from buyers will be. This will generate less profit for you and the buyer.

Estate agents make heavy use of printed promotional tools such as flyers and leaflets to promote the houses they have available. This is because estate agent leaflets are an ideal way to give property details to passing trade. They can also be made into marketing packs or sent out in the post to people who have registered their interest in a certain type of property.

A successful estate agent will invest heavily in marketing as the more people that know about your properties the quicker you will make a sale. Quite often when people are looking to sell a house they register with a number of estate agents hoping to make the sale process quicker. By using printed leaflets with nice images of the properties you could make a bigger impact than your competitors winning the sale.

Estate agents not only use printed services for selling. Letters are always used to communicate with clients and confirm contracts. There is a lot of paper work when selling or buying a home with a lot of written communication. Using letter headed paper will portray a professional image.

Because estate agents are such heavy users of printing services Print Republic have come up with some fantastic printing packs for estate agents to really get your marketing off to a great start. Business card sizes from around the world

Thursday, April 29th, 2010

Professional business cards are found all over the world yet the standard sizes one would expect to find differs from country to country; a little known fact that could affect you if you are thinking of starting up a business in a foreign country. In the UK, the normal size (and I stress normal as nowadays quality business cards come in all shapes, sizes and forms!) is 85mm x 55mm and the same goes for cards in nearby European countries including France, Italy, Holland, Switzerland, Spain and Germany.

However, a trip across to Denmark, Norway or Sweden will see the size rise in length to 90mm as it also does in Australia and New Zealand. Business cards from Canada and the US are usually 88.9mm x 50.8mm with Hong Kong 90mm x 54mm and Japan 91mm x 55mm. It is all relevant if you do business abroad as well as you may want to think about getting a selection of business cards printed in the ‘normal’ size of the country through which you wish to increase your business presence.

Professional business cards in Finland, Hungary, Israel, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Mexico, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Argentina and Kazakhstan are usually 90mm x 50mm and as you can see from the spread of the countries there is little pattern to where in the world you will find what sized cards. Finland is close to Sweden, Norway and Denmark yet its measurements are 5mm different on the width of the average business card there and the same goes for business cards in Mexico as they differ in size to those in the US.

Wherever in the world you live, if you choose to expand your business abroad it can hugely beneficial to keep in with the local customs and professional business cards are all about making a good first impression………

The best busines cards

Tuesday, January 26th, 2010

Whatever your business is and whatever service or product you are advertising; only the very best business cards will do! The internet is a wondrous invention and we all know how vital a part it often plays in so many people’s everyday lives now that it is hard to remember a time when we weren’t Googling everything! How did we used to find out things without Wikipedia and how on earth did we used to book holidays without completing a Google search first?

Googlecentric is a term that refers to people who think in terms of Google. For example, you ask someone a question and they reply more often than not with: “Hold on, let me Google that!” or “I don’t know but I know a search engine that does…..” The best business cards can be found by being Googlecentric as the internet is a visual way to view other designs that look great as well as those that you want to avoid. Sketching a rough design and actually seeing designs printed in colour on the web are two totally different things and looking through previous success and failure examples is an ideal way to create an unbeatable design.

There are numerous ways to create high quality business cards and Google can work as your own personal assistant when it comes to creating a design. Search for designs that are essentially your competition by looking at business cards in the same sector as yourself and see what they are missing. Get into some online forums and ask people what they would want to see from your business cards and create a folder full of potential ideas that you can pull off the Google images pages. High quality business cards can be created through a little creativity and by acting a little Googlecentric!

Checklist for what to include on your high quality business cards

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

Designing high quality business cards is a niche skill as it is vital to get your design right in order to gain your own personal place in someone’s wallet. Few people are aware that 90% of business cards end up straight in the bin without even so much of a second glance and the only ones left to grace the pockets of a purse are high quality business cards.

Here are a few ideas on what to include on your professional business cards.

1)    Contact details including name, telephone number, email and website.

2)    Company name and brief outline of your services.

3)    Good and appropriate use of colour, text size and font.

4)    Double sided for the ultimate space for maximum details.

5)    Pay attention to the finish of the high quality business cards by considering whether to use a matte or gloss finish, border etc.

6)    Humour – a funny/catchy business slogan can help your professional business cards to book their place in a wallet.

Professional business cards are made up from a wide variety of components and these are just a few of the basics. You have to incorporate many ideas into successful business cards and the main point is to be relevant with your design as this helps to make your business obvious to the customer. When receiving high quality business cards think about what you would look for and use this in your designs and try to keep them simple so as not to appear too crowded or busy.

High quality business cards will be created by a printing service that offers you a good price and a great service. Get in contact with Print Republic for more information on high quality business cards.

Printing services UK

Wednesday, September 2nd, 2009

We all understand the importance of business cards in business but not all of us recognise the need for using a business card printing service that provides both a good service and good quality business cards. Getting the best business cards can make a massive difference between earning your credentials a place in a wallet or a place in the bin with the other 95 per cent. All across the UK are printing services but take some time out of your hectic lifestyle and find yourself a business card printing service that doesn’t break the bank or scrimp on the quality.

Printing services are as common as McDonald’s but finding the quality steak houses from the fast food joints is as easy as finding a good business card printing company from the cowboys; it just takes a little time and effort. A printing service that provides quick business cards is also worth hunting down as high quality business cards topped off with a fast service is practically unheard of. Organising and designing your quality business cards can be fun and business card printing with a good company should be hassle free.

Have a look online for a company that comes highly recommended by its customers and find out about their latest offers. A printing service should use good inks, offer the choice of double or single sided cards as well as printing the business cards onto something like silk artboard for a great finish. At Print Republic, you can guarantee that you get a great price and unbeatable printing services making it the best choice if you are in the UK and need to get a new stash of professional business cards. Unbeatable prices, service and cards = Print Republic.
